I’m from Nottingham, a small city in the East Midlands, and I think growing up there gave me a bit of a “small city syndrome”.. I always felt like there had to be more out there. From a young age, I had a deep desire for freedom and never really got on well with being told what I could and couldn’t do.

When I discovered trading at 17 years old in 2017, something immediately clicked. The idea that you could learn a skill where your ability, knowledge and decisions could create opportunities for you rather than simply exchanging your time for money completely hooked me.

When I first discovered trading at 17, I was completely fascinated by the idea that I could learn a skill that could eventually give me more freedom over my time and my life.

Like most people starting out, I thought the hard part would be learning how to trade. I quickly realised there was a lot more to it than that.

I spent years learning, making mistakes, testing different approaches and experiencing the highs and lows that come with trading. There were times where I overcomplicated things, lacked confidence in my own decisions and had to learn some lessons the hard way.

Alongside trading, I also started building an income online by marketing trading education and services. This allowed me to stay within the industry, learn from different people and gain a much deeper understanding of both trading and the online business world.

Over time, I stopped chasing every strategy and started focusing on what actually made sense to me. I developed a more systematic, data-backed approach and became much more focused on having a repeatable process rather than relying on emotion or trying to predict every move.

It hasn’t been a straight line, and I definitely haven’t got everything right along the way. But every mistake, setback and lesson has played a part in getting me to where I am today.

That’s what I want people to understand when they join Echelon, there’s no shortcut to becoming a good trader. But with the right education, environment, support and willingness to learn, you can give yourself a much better foundation to build from.

My vision is to help create a community where people can learn trading properly, develop a genuine skill and take control of their own financial future.

I want Echelon to be a place where traders have access to quality education, real support and a community of like-minded people who are all working towards becoming better traders.

My goal is to take everything I’ve learned throughout my journey and help make the path easier for the next generation of traders giving people the knowledge, structure and environment they need to develop their own edge and become confident in the markets.

Ultimately, it’s about creating more freedom, more opportunity and helping people realise that there can be more to life than simply exchanging your time for money.
