What this site and Echelon collect about you, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. Analytics runs only if you agree to it.

If you agree to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are used, so we can improve the site. If you do not agree, nothing is loaded from Google and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Otherwise we only hold personal data about you if you send it to us: by using a form on this site, by emailing us, by messaging us on Telegram, or by joining the community.
The data controller is Echelon Prime Ltd, registered in England and Wales under number 17145110, at Basepoint Business Centre, Rivermead Drive, Swindon, SN5 7EX. You can contact us about anything on this page at echelonprimeltd@gmail.com.
If you use the contact form or the partner enquiry form: your name, your email address and your message, and on the partner form the number of clients you have and the broker they use now.
If you are an introducing broker and complete the sign-up form: your name, town and country, the introduction and answers you write, the link for your page, and a photograph if you add one. These are used to build your landing page, which is only published after Echelon has approved it.
If you email us: your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever is in your message.
If you message us on Telegram or join a channel: your Telegram username and display name, your user ID, and anything you post in the rooms. Other members can see this too. Telegram is a separate service with its own privacy policy, and what it collects is outside our control.
If you join the community: the trading account number you send us, so we can confirm the account was opened through Echelon and give you access. We do not receive your account password and we cannot see or move your money.
Without your agreement, nothing beyond what any website receives. The site is served by Netlify, whose servers keep standard request logs, as every web server does. The typeface is served from this site, not from Google Fonts.
With your agreement, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, roughly where in the world a visit comes from, the type of device and browser, how you arrived, and certain clicks, such as on a joining button or a contact link on an introducing broker's page, and whether an enquiry form was sent. Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact details. Google signals and advertising features are switched off.
Analytics is never loaded on the staff area of the site or on the introducing broker sign-up form.
Analytics cookies are set only if you press Accept. There are two, both from Google Analytics. _ga tells one visitor's browser apart from another so that returning visitors are counted once, and _ga_HWHGWNVCC5 keeps track of the current visit. Each lasts up to 2 years from your most recent visit, because the period restarts whenever you come back.
If you press Reject, or later change your choice to Reject, they are not set and any already set are removed.
Your choice itself is remembered in your browser so that we do not ask again on every page. That is not a cookie and is not sent to anyone.
Echelon staff who sign in to manage the site have their sign-in kept in their browser. That applies only to staff and is necessary for signing in.
To answer you when you get in touch, to build and publish introducing broker pages, to give you access to the community and keep it running, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and to meet our own legal and record keeping obligations.
Our lawful bases are your consent for analytics, performing our agreement with you as a member or introducing broker, our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and running the community, and legal obligation where one applies.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Supabase, which stores the information sent through the forms on this site.
Google, for analytics, if you have agreed to it. Google may process this data outside the UK, under the safeguards it provides for international transfers.
Netlify, which hosts the site.
Our email provider and Telegram, because that is where the messages are.
The broker, only to the extent needed to confirm that an account was opened through Echelon.
Professional advisers or authorities, where we are required to disclose something by law.
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is useful and then deleted. Member records are kept for as long as you are a member, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months.
You can ask us to delete what we hold at any time.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time from Cookie settings. Write to echelonprimeltd@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
This site and this community are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18. If you believe we hold data about a child, tell us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
